Welcome to Cutie Mew! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website cutiemew.com, our online store, and the Cutie Mew Dress Up game (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility (13+)

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and accounts given a date under 13 are not created.

If we find that an account holder is under 13 — whether we notice it ourselves or a parent or guardian tells us — we will delete that account and all information attached to it, including any diamonds, items or progress, without refund of virtual items. This is required of us by the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you are over 13 but under the age of majority in your country, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchases.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and let us know of any unauthorized use.

3. Virtual items & diamonds

• Diamonds, outfits, collections, stickers and other in-game items are a limited license to use digital content within the game. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Virtual items are generally non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.
• Gift codes expire 90 days after they are issued. Redeem them inside the game before then; an expired code cannot be reinstated.
• No real-money trading. You may not sell, buy, rent, auction or trade diamonds, items, gift codes or Cutie Mew accounts for money or anything of value outside the game, and you may not advertise doing so. Codes are issued for the buyer of the box — sharing one publicly means whoever uses it first keeps it, and we cannot replace it. We may void codes, remove items or close accounts involved in real-money trading.
• If a box is refunded or charged back after its gift codes were redeemed, we may deduct the diamonds and items the codes granted, leave the balance negative until it is settled, or restrict the account. We'd always rather talk first — contact us and we'll sort it out.
• We may add, change, or remove in-game items and features at any time.

4. Purchases & shipping

• Payments for physical products (such as mystery boxes) are processed securely by Stripe. Prices and availability may change.
• Mystery products contain surprise items; the specific contents are not guaranteed and are part of the fun.
• We aim to ship within the timeframe shown at checkout. Refund and return requests are handled per applicable law — contact us for help.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots to gain diamonds or items; harass other players; attempt to access accounts that are not yours; or disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.

6. Advertising

The Service may display advertising, including ads served by Google. Interactions with ads are governed by the advertiser's and Google's terms. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

7. Intellectual property

All content in the Service — including artwork, characters, logos, and code — belongs to Cutie Mew or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutie Mew will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, diamonds, or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
