Cutie Mew Dress Up is a free, browser-based kawaii dress-up game where you create your own character, style them with hundreds of clothing pieces, and show off your looks in themed competitions. If you're just getting started, this guide walks you through everything you need to know.
1. Create your account
Head to the game page and sign up with your email. Your account keeps your outfits, diamonds and progress saved, so you can pick up right where you left off on any device — phone, tablet or computer. Every new player starts with a bundle of free diamonds to get going.
2. Customize your avatar
The first thing you'll do is make your character your own. In the Customize menu you can pick a skin tone and eye color from a wide range of options. This is your blank canvas — the base you'll dress up in all kinds of styles.
3. Dress up in the wardrobe
The Dress Up tab is the heart of the game. Clothing is organized by category — hair, tops, dresses, skirts, shoes, accessories, wings, backgrounds and more. Tap an item to put it on your avatar, and mix and match to build a look you love. Many items also come in several color variants, so a single piece can fit lots of different outfits.
4. Earn and spend diamonds
Diamonds are the in-game currency you use to unlock new clothing. Some items are free, while others cost diamonds. The good news is there are plenty of free ways to earn them: claim your daily reward, vote on other players' looks, and place well in competitions. 5. Complete collections
Collections are themed sets of clothing — for example, a matching bundle of tops, skirts and accessories. Complete every item in a collection and you'll earn bonus diamonds plus a special holographic sticker for your album. It's a fun long-term goal that rewards you for building out your wardrobe.
6. Join competitions
Feeling creative? Enter a competition. Each one has a theme, and you submit your best outfit for other players to vote on. Rank high and you'll win diamond prizes. Competitions are a great way to get inspired by what everyone else is putting together, too.
7. Show off your profile
Your profile is your personal showcase. Set a background and frame, post your favorite looks, and follow other players. As you play, you'll level up and unlock even more ways to express your style.
That's the whole loop: dress up, earn diamonds, unlock more clothes, complete collections and compete. It's simple to start and has plenty of depth as you go. The best way to learn is to jump in and start experimenting!
