Is the game free to play?

Yes! Cutie Mew Dress Up is completely free. You can create an account, dress up your avatar, earn diamonds, complete collections and join competitions without spending anything. Mystery boxes add exclusive extras, but they're never required to play.

Do I need to download anything?

No downloads. The game runs right in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers. Just visit the game page and sign in.

What are diamonds?

Diamonds are the in-game currency used to unlock clothing. You can earn them for free through daily rewards, competitions and voting, or get a boost from gift codes found in our mystery boxes. See our guide on earning diamonds for free.

Will my progress be saved?

Yes. Your outfits, diamonds and collections are tied to your account, so you can log in from any device and pick up where you left off.

How do competitions work?

Each competition has a theme. You submit an outfit, other players vote, and top-ranked looks win diamond prizes. You can also earn a little reward just for voting.

What's the difference between the Mystery Ball and Mystery Scoop?

The Mystery Scoop is a great starter box, while the Mystery Ball is a larger bundle for collectors who want more items. Both are packed with unique kawaii surprises and gift codes for the game.

What's inside a box?

A curated mix of cute items chosen to feel worth more than you paid — plus gift codes that unlock diamonds and exclusive items in the game. The exact contents are a surprise, which is the fun part!

How do gift codes work?

Every Mystery Ball and Mystery Scoop comes with gift codes you redeem inside the game. They're the bridge between the box on your desk and your avatar — and they give you three things:

• A matching item in the game. Each cute item in your box unlocks a matching piece from the game's current collection. Get a pair of earrings in your box, for example, and you'll unlock earrings in the game too. A few surprises are linked to the game in a themed way instead of one-to-one — a sticker in your box, for instance, unlocks the kawaii makeup look.
• A "complete the set" bonus. If a single order gives you every item of the current collection, you instantly unlock an extra bonus piece from that collection. Didn't get them all this time? No worries — we can add the extra freebie to your next purchase.
• Diamonds. Your codes also include diamonds to spend in the game. The amount grows with the size of your order — starting at 500 diamonds and going all the way up to a whole lot more for bigger bundles!

Redeem your codes on the gift-code screen in the game, and keep them private until you do — each code can only be used once.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically delivered within 7 business days. Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information by email so you can follow it to your door.

How can I track my order?

After your box ships, we email you the carrier and tracking code. You can also see your order status in the My Account area.

How do I create an account?
